Food safety, done simply.

The NC and SC food service rules and regulations state that each food service establishment must have a ServSafe® certified manager on duty at all times of operation. The establishment could receive a TWO POINT DEDUCTION for being out-of-compliance with this rule on each health inspection score if this requirement is not met.

In many areas of Virginia, a ServSafe® Manager Certification is a requirement in food service operations.  Like the Carolinas, if there is not a manager on duty that has a valid and current certification, this is considered out-of-compliance and marked on the inspection form.

All Raise-The-Grade® food safety classes are designed to meet the specific requirements to satisfy the food service rules and regulations in the scheduled areas.  The proctored test is the ServSafe® Food Protection Manager Exam which meets all requirements necessary to avoid a non-compliance violation.  Upon passing the exam, your ServSafe® certificate shows the individual has met the training requirement and/or proof of knowledge in regards to retail food safety.

Our ServSafe® Classes:

  • Have a passing rate over 90%
  • Are taught in a user-friendly, informative, and upbeat manner
  • Include a Raise-The-Grade® study notebook, and ServSafe® Food Handler guide (both complimentary)

  • Provide everything needed to not only pass the exam, but leave with a renewed conviction for the industry
