Most states require that each food service establishment have a Certified Food Safety Manager on premises when the kitchen is in operation, or have at least one person in a leadership role is certified employed by the operation.

All Raise The Grade Food Safety Manager Certification classes are designed to cover the specific guidelines and best practices outlined within the current FDA Model Food Code. State specific regulations are also addressed within the classes to give the students an even more specific outline of how food safety relates to their respective operations.

After the class, students have the option to take the ServSafe® Manager Certification Exam, or, if they choose, the Always Food Safe® Manager Certification Exam.  Both exams are ANSI accredited and meet all requirements necessary to avoid an "out-of-compliance" designation. Upon passing the exam, your ServSafe or Always Food Safe certificate will show you have met the training and knowledge requirements for managing retail food safety.
